Descripción o reseña de la producción artística en ingles:
The play LA MUJER JUSTA is in fact an adaptation for the theatre of the novel by Sandor Márai that carries this title in Spanish but was published in English as PORTRAIT OF A MARRIAGE. A married woman (GRACIELA DUFAU) finds an old piece of lace in her husband´s (ARTURO BONIN) wallet. This worn violet piece of cloth reveals to the wife that her husband has had a hidden secret for years and allows her to discover the history of this hidden passion for a young girl (VICTORIA ONETTO) who worked as a servant in his parent´s house since she was 15. The marriage comes to an inevitable end after their three year old son dies. It is only then that the husband asks his wife for the divorce and six months later he marries the ex maid. Three voices, three loves, three different points of view of a same story that leads the audience to think about the impossiblility of finding “the right person, the only and unique person, the wonderful person that will give us all the happiness we long for”. Three voices, three different ways of loving, three sensibilities, allow us to discover the veil over a story of love, passion, treasury, untruthfulness. The novel by Sandor Márai had a big success in Spanish and had more than 33 editions. It was also adapted in Spain and in Uruguay for the theatre. In Argentina it was adapted for the theatre by the director Hugo Urquijo and the main actress Graciela Dufau and opened in 2012 in Buenos Aires and has been presented since then uninterruptedly in Buenos Aires and in the main cities all over the country.
